FEMININE GROOMING ...... Tuning Up Your Feminine Image Shifting gears from Masculinity to Femininity is not something that can be done by slipping on a nice dress and applying some makeup. The rugged and often unkept (by feminine standards) male persona is "Ground Zero" as far as femininity is concerned. However, there are many little things that you can do to reach a more neutural point, making the transition to your feminine side more comfortable, and enjoyable.....and improving your masculine appearance in the process. These things will also maintain a feminine presence in your everyday drab world. Perhaps one of the biggest things that detract from the feminine image, is the average male hand. Rough skin, dirt under untrimmed fingernails, and cuts and scrapes, are not feminine qualities at all. No matter what your profession may be, you can take steps to improve the appearance of your hands, and give them a more feminine look. Wearing gloves when working or doing manual tasks, can vastly improve the skin, and minimize damage and dirt. A good hand cream is essential, and while we are on the topic, creams and lotions should be part of your daily ritual, for almost every part of your body. Learn how to maintain your cuticles and nails, and consider keeping them trimmed at a longer, more feminine length and shape. False fingernails are Ok, but there is nothing quite as feminizing as the feel of polish being applied to your own nails, and a longer and slendor nail length will cause your hands to look more slender, giving them a more feminine appearance. A good little trick for keeping dirt and grime from building up under longer nails while at work, is to rake them across a bar of soap, packing the soap underneath them, before you ever begin the task. The soap prevents the dirt from ever getting a chance to get under your nails, and when you wash up later, they will look great!! Let's move to the feet. Most men do not have great looking feet, and they do not even worry about them when their feminine persona is concerned, as they are covered with lovely spiked heels. However, proper nail maintenence, and daily applications of creams will create an entirely different feeling for you as you slip into those pumps. Callous build-up is nasty, and needs to be kept under control by using any variety of products and tools readily available in any drug store. You will be suprised at the way your shoes fit, once they are in proper feminine condition. If your situation permits, go ahead and paint those nails !!!! When hair is concerned, the obvious place to start is with the head. Although you probably wear a wig when in Fem mode, there is no good reason to neglect your own hair. If you have always wanted to grow it out, or perhaps change the color, give it a try, but always do so with style and taste. Use good conditioners and shampoos to maintain its health, and always rinse with cold water to close the cuticle and promote a good sheen. Find a style that you like, and have your hair trimmed regularly to keep problems like split ends under control. Facial hair is always a problem for us girls, and each of us has their own problems with dealing with it in our feminine transformation. However, when in male mode, take the time and effort to keep a close shave, and start paying attention to all of those other places where unsightly hair springs up, like the nose, ears, and eyebrow area (pluck this area, and by all means, get rid of that unibrow !!!). If you are really serious about your feminine side.......lose the mustache and beard.....The only women grooming facial hair in that manner are in the circus !! Body hair is your call, depending on your circumstances, but if at all possible, shave or wax where you can. Shaving the pubic area is very feminine, and well accepted in todays world (most genetic women don't like all that hair down there on you anyway!!!). As stated earlier, creams and lotions are a must. Soft skin will bring your femininity to an advanced level, and is a very important part of the process. There are loads of facial creams that offer claims to reduce wrinkles and other imperfections, and many of them actually do work. Some sort of moisturizer should become part of your daily ritual. Use lotions on the rest of your body as well, paying close attention to problem areas like the elbows and knees. Hygene cannot be overlooked. Do the usual.....but try to add a feminine touch where you can. Get rid of the Right Guard Speed Stick, and find a more feminine deodorant that works well with your body chemistry. Pick a toothbrush with a more feminine color or design. Ditch that old ratty comb, and buy a good hair brush. For those of you that wear panties on a daily basis, try using panty liners, for a more feminine touch (And they will keep your panties from being ruined as well). Many of these sugestions are little things, but you will find that by incorporating them into your daily routine, a few at a time, you will see a big difference in both your male and female presentations, and your femininity will be brought to the surface in your everyday life in a way that is not only acceptable for the most part, but also beneficial to your health and state of mind. |
